humble and healed
unknown to known
You’re not on the outside of God’s plan looking in. You're not tolerated. You're chosen. And your story—what you've been through—is not sidelined. It’s part of the divine mystery being revealed. We can be reminded that we are not outsiders of God's plan by being in a church community. Paul is celebrating what Christ is doing through His church, and we are invited to be an active member of a church community.
canceled to called
Even when you feel like your calling has been canceled, remember the words, “But God.” We do not have to earn our calling. We do not have to be afraid of being “canceled” by God because He has called us. He is calling us everyday to live with Him
reconciliaton roadmap
The Reconciliation Roadmap is a tool from my upcoming devotional, Healing through Belonging. Reconciliation is a characteristic that we can embody through the Holy Spirit. Believers are called to be “Ministers of Reconciliation” (2 Corin. 5:18-19). We are able to reconcile relationships because we have been reconciled back to God. Jesus died on the cross for our sins, so we no longer separated from Him. Jesus was the ultimate minister of reconciliation. Through the Holy Spirit, we are able to forgive others, and we are able to renew our relationships with people. We will not be able to reconcile every relationship. However, we can become ministers of reconciliation. Reconciliation begins with us and our hearts and minds. The exercise below will help you identify how you can become someone who reconciles relationships. We must first recognize our personal set backs in relation to relationships.
